Such as I will no longer ever take on projects. I like to photograph what I like to photograph and I have grown tired of feeling like a slave to other people's creativity. I'm not saying others aren't creative, but they have their vision, which I might not always see, and its frustrating to work like that. So I'll only be working on my own projects, which was a freeing, and awesome decision! I recommend everyone at the least take time out from working with others and do what they want to do.
Also, for a photographer, I've been rather bad at always having a camera on me. I decided to change that! I bought a Tamron 17-50mm f/2.8 lens so that I wouldn't have the excuse my prime lenses always gave me: it's hard to capture spontaneous events with a fixed lens. So now I have a telephoto lens, and no excuses. Street photography here I come!
Also, I think I might step into the world of photo-manipulation. I've always wanted to try to make something in photoshop. I won't use stock, that to me feels like cheating. I want everything I do to be my own, owing no credit to anyone. I want to blaze my own, new trails.
I've had a few rather selfish revelations recently, but heck, who doesn't once in a while decide that it's time to work on themselves and take a step back from others when they need it?
